Built using an exceptionally strong core, each mattress is made from the purest organic Dunlop latex sourced from the picturesque Kottayam region of India and certified through GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) to guarantee its superlative quality. No synthetic latex or other performance-robbing material is added during the manufacturing process, which means you can enjoy the full benefits of latex rubber unperturbed.

A latex mattress is any mattress that contains latex rubber. However,not all latex mattresses are equal. Some are made from 100% latex while other are made from a combination of materials and contain as little as 1/4" of latex. Some use synthetic based latex while others use natural latex. At Nature’s Embrace, we use GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex and natural Talalay latex for a cleaner, healthier sleep. We also use 2-4" of latex in our hybrid latex options. When shopping for latex mattress it's always important to compare apples-to-apples to ensure you're getting the best fit and value.

Our hybrid latex mattress combines the natural comfort of latex with the deep support of an individually wrapped pocketed coil system. The latex layer(s) offer responsive contouring and pressure relief, while the coil base adds bounce, airflow, and durability. Our designs blend the best of both worlds: the resilience of natural latex with the comfort of traditional spring mattresses. We use at least 2" of latex in our hybrids, but some hybrids contain less than an inch. Although that saves money in the short term, it's fundamentally more expensive as you don't receive any of the benefits of latex that way. Hybrid latex models are ideal for those who want the enhanced support and comfort of latex in a more traditional mattress setup.

A vegan mattress is made without any animal-derived materials such as wool or silk. At Nature’s Embrace, our vegan mattresses use Bamboo or Tencel fabrics instead of Cotton, as Cotton must be combined with a fire retardant, and wool is the only natural fire barrier. These mattresses offer the same comfort, support, and breathability as our standard models while aligning with vegan lifestyle values. They are perfect for anyone seeking an animal-free mattress without compromising on quality, safety or sustainability.

A futon mattress is a versatile, foldable mattress traditionally made with layers of cotton batting. Originally from Japan, some futons are designed for use directly on the floor while other should be used on a slatted frame. At Nature’s Embrace, we craft Canadian-made futons using natural materials like cotton, organic latex, and wool. Our futons are ideal for minimalist sleepers, guest rooms, or everyday sofa-to-bed use.

The best mattresses for kids are firm, breathable, and made with natural materials. In the absence of parental preferences, our Standard mattresses are the ideal choice for growing bodies as they are on the firmer side but still provide comfort.

Standard Organic Latex Mattress or Standard Vegan Mattress

Soft to medium latex layers are ideal, especially when combined with zoned support or plush Talalay comfort layers.
