Yes, latex has a natural aroma. This scent is non-toxic and usually dissipates within a few days to a few weeks, depending on ventilation and a person's sensitivity to smell. In rare cases, those with very strong sensitivities may always notice a slight odour. However, it’s very different from the strong chemical off-gassing you may experience with synthetic foams. Latex mattresses perform best on a rigid, breathable surface. We recommend slatted platform beds with slats 1-2.5" apart (no more than 3") or a solid base with ventilation. As a general rule, there should be more support than air, and you should avoid box springs and bowed / flexible slats, which can cause uneven support. No, the cotton and wool mattress cover is not machine washable. Our quilted covers are made from pure organic cotton and untreated, natural wool, which can shrink or become misshapen if exposed to water or agitation. We recommend spot cleaning only. Gently dab the affected area and allow it to air dry completely. Do not soak, machine wash, or tumble dry. Some people may choose to use mattress protectors or mattress pads for easier cleaning. However, that have a plasticized backing that reduces air flow and firms up the mattress.

The products are great! Really happy with them. The customer service is also very easy to reach, friendly, and quick to respond. Giving 4 stars only because I had to reach out twice to get the products I ordered: 2 kids mattresses, but only one was originally sent, and then when the second one came it didn't have the Tencel cover on it. Fortunately they were for the kids who know no different and were happy to have when they got when they got it. I would order from here again, but hope that the quality control gets the kinks worked out as the company grows. :)

Comfortable and perfect for our little one

Bought a firm twin sized mattress for our three year old who is transitioning out of a crib and into a 'big boy bed'. This seemed to be the perfect fit and something that will hopefully stand up to years of sleeping for him. Even for me (dad) to sleep on the mattress with him is very comfortable and supportive. Very good chance we will be back for another when our newborn is ready for a big bed too.
One thing to note, the foam has very little rigidity when moving it around, unlike a more traditional mattress. Moving it is easiest with two people, otherwise it will flop around like a wet noodle. It is also heavy for its size. This in theory should be an indication of the materials used and the longevity of the product, but handling can be a bit tricky!
Great sleeps have been had. Our little guy loves it. Thanks!!!

Great latex core mattress

Fantastic value for an organic latex mattress. Added a topper and it is very comfortable and supportive. It was also packed and shipped very securely. The king weighed in at 100lbs and although best to have help getting it unpacked, I managed alone due to the way it is rolled and sealed for shipping. Very happy so far!
