Our Dunlop and Talalay latex mattresses combine the stable support of Dunlop latex with the responsive comfort of Talalay latex. This hybrid all-latex design is one of the most versatile constructions available, offering a balance of deep support, pressure relief, airflow, and long-term durability.

The lower support layers are built using dense Dunlop latex, creating a stable and supportive base that helps maintain spinal alignment and reduces excessive sinking. Above the support core, Talalay latex comfort layers add a softer, more adaptive feel that contours more closely to the body and relieves pressure around the shoulders and hips.

We offer both Original Talalay and Natural Talalay comfort layer options. Original Talalay provides a softer, more buoyant feel, while Natural Talalay offers a slightly denser and more supportive surface using a higher percentage of natural rubber.

This combination is especially popular for side sleepers, combination sleepers, and anyone looking for a latex mattress that feels supportive without becoming overly firm. The layered construction also improves airflow throughout the mattress, helping create a cooler and more breathable sleep environment compared to many foam mattresses.

A latex mattress is any mattress that contains latex rubber. However,not all latex mattresses are equal. Some are made from 100% latex while other are made from a combination of materials and contain as little as 1/4" of latex. Some use synthetic based latex while others use natural latex. At Nature’s Embrace, we use GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex and natural Talalay latex for a cleaner, healthier sleep. We also use 2-4" of latex in our hybrid latex options. When shopping for latex mattress it's always important to compare apples-to-apples to ensure you're getting the best fit and value.

Our hybrid latex mattress combines the natural comfort of latex with the deep support of an individually wrapped pocketed coil system. The latex layer(s) offer responsive contouring and pressure relief, while the coil base adds bounce, airflow, and durability. Our designs blend the best of both worlds: the resilience of natural latex with the comfort of traditional spring mattresses. We use at least 2" of latex in our hybrids, but some hybrids contain less than an inch. Although that saves money in the short term, it's fundamentally more expensive as you don't receive any of the benefits of latex that way. Hybrid latex models are ideal for those who want the enhanced support and comfort of latex in a more traditional mattress setup.
