Layer Exchanges

One of the biggest advantages of a Nature's Embrace latex mattress is the ability to adjust or replace individual layers without purchasing an entirely new mattress. Our modular construction gives you direct access to the materials inside, making it easier to fine-tune comfort, change firmness and extend the useful life of your mattress.

Our Layer Exchange Program allows you to exchange eligible latex layers during your first six months, while our Lifetime Layer Replacement Program provides discounted replacement layers and covers for up to 15 years.

Layer Exchange Program

Finding the right mattress firmness isn't always easy, and even a carefully chosen mattress can feel different after you've spent a few weeks sleeping on it. That's why we build our latex mattresses with removable comfort layers.

Our Layer Exchange Program gives you six months to make adjustments to your mattress by exchanging eligible latex layers for a different firmness or type of latex, without having to replace the entire mattress.

Program Terms & Eligibility

• Exchanges must be requested within six months of the original shipping date.
• A maximum of two layers may be exchanged, either together or separately during the six-month period.
• Only removable latex layers 3" thick or less are eligible. Solid 6" latex cores and pocket coil systems cannot be exchanged.
• The total thickness of the mattress must remain unchanged.
• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
• Original layers must be returned within 30 days of receiving their replacements.
• Returned layers must be in original condition, free from odours, stains, tears or other damage.
• All exchanges require prior authorization.

The program is not available for custom-sized mattresses, clearance or as-is products, floor models, warranty claims or non-qualifying mattress models.

The Layer Exchange Program does not provide refunds on the original mattress purchase. All qualifying mattresses are also eligible for our Lifetime Layer Replacement Program.

How the Layer Exchange Process Works

Exchanging a latex layer is straightforward. We'll help you identify the right replacement, ship it directly to you and give you time to make the switch before returning your original layer.

1. Contact Us: Let us know what you'd like to change about your mattress. We'll review your current configuration and help you choose a replacement layer that better suits your comfort and support preferences.
2. Order Your Replacement: Your new layer is initially charged at our discounted Lifetime Layer Replacement rate, plus any applicable upgrade costs. We'll arrange to ship it directly to you.
3. Swap Your Layers: Once your replacement arrives, unzip your mattress cover, remove the original layer and install the new one. There's no need to return the entire mattress.
4. Return Your Original Layer: Ship your original layer back to us within 30 days of receiving the replacement, following our return instructions. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
5. Receive Your Credit: Once we receive and inspect your original layer, we'll refund the replacement layer charge, less applicable return shipping costs and any upgrade charges.

Important: All exchanges require prior authorization. Original layers must be returned within 30 days and meet our return condition requirements to qualify for a credit. Layers returned late or in unacceptable condition will not be credited.

Changing Firmness or Latex Types

Not all latex feels the same. Dunlop, Natural Talalay and Classic Talalay each have their own comfort characteristics, and changing the type of latex can make just as much difference as changing the firmness.

Our Layer Exchange Program gives you the flexibility to experiment with different options, with a few simple pricing rules.

• Changing Firmness: Exchange your layer for a different firmness within the same latex type and thickness at no additional material cost.
• Upgrading Your Latex: If you choose a more expensive type of latex, you'll pay the difference between the original and replacement layers, based on current regular retail topper prices.
• Switching to Less Expensive Latex: You can switch to a less expensive latex type, but no refund or credit will be issued for the difference in price.

All exchanges remain subject to the program's eligibility requirements, return shipping costs and 30-day return deadline.

Lifetime Layer Replacement Program

A mattress shouldn't have to be replaced simply because your comfort preferences change or one component begins to wear out. With our modular construction, individual latex layers and mattress covers can be replaced while keeping the rest of your mattress intact.

Our Lifetime Layer Replacement Program makes this approach more affordable by offering 25% off replacement latex layers and mattress covers for up to 15 years from your original shipping date. Whether you're looking to refresh an aging comfort layer, adjust your mattress firmness or replace a worn cover, you can maintain your mattress without starting over.

Program Benefits & Conditions

• Receive a 25% discount on eligible replacement latex layers and mattress covers.
• The program begins after the initial six-month Layer Exchange Program expires and continues for up to 15 years from the original shipping date.
• Discounts are calculated using current regular retail prices and cannot be combined with other sales, promotions or offers.
• A maximum of two replacement layers may be purchased per year, up to five replacement layers per qualifying mattress.
• One replacement cover may be purchased every two years, up to five replacement covers per qualifying mattress.
• Replacement layers and covers must be the same size as the original mattress.
• Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
• Purchasing replacement components does not extend the original mattress warranty.
• The program is available exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
• Proof of purchase may be required.

Eligibility: The Lifetime Layer Replacement Program is available to qualifying Nature's Embrace modular latex mattresses purchased directly from us.
